Lady GaGa played a new song for the first time at a gig in Minnesota last night. The singer appeared solo at her piano to premiere ballad Living On The Radio for her fans. Recordings of the song have since appeared online with lyrics on the track referencing “all the caviar, the champagne and the sold out shows.” GaGa also draw a cheer when she referenced her fanbase singing “Baby you’ve got a friend, so many little monsters, yeah.” It’s the second new track that the New York native has played on her US tour. She’s also been performing You And I with both tracks possibly set for her new album next year. In other news about the star’s new material a report over the weekend claimed that Scissor Sisters are desperate to work with Lady G. A source told the Mail On Sunday: “Jake Shears has performed with huge stars like Kylie. He is desperate for the union with Lady Gaga to go ahead “He was concerned Lady GaGa might decide against it but he has been reassured that the collaboration will happen in some way, shape or form.”

With the demands of performing on her Monster Ball tour, recording a new album and being one of her generation's top pop stars Lady Gaga has a lot on her plate – but she stays healthy by watching what she puts on her plate. Since fainting during a concert in New Zealand earlier this year, Gaga has become a stickler for maintaining a healthy routine, according to her choreographer LaurieAnn Gibson. "It's all about salsa with grain chips, tofu, turkey slices, hummus and coconut water," says the choreographer, who is nominated for two MTV VMAs for Gaga's "Bad Romance" and "Telephone" videos. "We'll have a toast or two with a little white wine!" says Gibson, who will premiere a Ryan Seacrest-produced reality show on E! in November, of Gaga's pre-show ritual. So just who is the real Gaga? Gibson, who choreographed the singer's videos for "Poker Face," "Love Game," "Paparazzi," "Bad Romance," "Telephone" and "Alejandro," says Gaga is a soulful theater buff who has "become a lot more comfortable with herself." Gibson describes the pop star as "fearless," and says her new music, which Gaga has been recording while on tour, reflects that fearlessness. "She's going to take a bigger bite out of things," says Gibson. "You're going to see more of who she really is."

The Poker Face hitmaker — who has splashed out a whopping $4m on the North American leg of her Monster Ball tour — insists she is not in the music industry to become rich. “I spent every dollar I made on my music, my art. Every dollar,” GaGa insisted. “I don’t wait to get budgets from the label. I do it on my own. I don’t give a f**k about money. Unless it’s on the stage, I don’t want it in my hand. “Pop music is commercial art the way Andy Warhol’s Campbell’s soup cans were commercial art. I don’t know why everyone is so against pop music. I love a good chorus – sue me. It’s that f***ing simple. “My ultimate goal besides making music forever and touring the world over and over and becoming the greatest pop performance art show on the planet? I want a Lady GaGa exhibit at the Louvre.” GaGa has previously revealed how her over the top shows leave her “bankrupt”. “I’ve gone bankrupt about four times now,” she said in July last year. “My manager wants to shoot me. “Every dollar I earn goes on the show. Now we’re finally getting to a place where it’s not bankruptcy. “Then again, with another tour coming up soon I’ll probably be homeless again.”

The'Telephone' hitmaker is reportedly terrified of getting a brain tumour from using a portable device and now insists a member of her entourage holds her phone a short distance away from her whenever she has to make a call. A source said: "There have been various reports suggesting mobile phone use can increase your risk of developing cancer and brain tumours and even though there's no firm evidence, it really freaked her out. "She's now insisting that whenever she makes a call, one of her team keys the numbers into her phone, then holds it up to her face so when she speaks it isn't too close to her head. "She then listens to her calls on the speakerphone." According to the insider, the request is the latest in a series of bizarre demands from the eccentric singer. She is also said to ask members of her security team to carry her to various events because she has only designated a certain amount of time each day to walking. The source added: "Everyone around Gaga tries to tolerate her annoying and weird behaviour because they know it's likely to be just another phase."

MADONNA is reportedly “obsessed” with Lady GaGa and is desperate for the singer to join her on tour. Sources say the reigning Queen of Pop wants GaGa to open for her next year. “Madonna is absolutely obsessed with GaGa,” an insider told Britain’s News of the World newspaper. “She thinks she is the most cutting-edge star to come out of pop in ages and desperately wants to work with her. “Basically GaGa can name her price.” Hey, it’s not completely out of the question! Madge, 52, has previously revealed she’s a huge GaGa fan. “I see myself in Lady Gaga,” she said last year. “When I saw her, she didn’t have a lot of money for her production. she’s got holes in her fishnets, and there’s mistakes everywhere. It was kind of a mess, but I can see that she has that IT Factor. It’s nice to see that at a raw stage.” And GaGa has previously talked about her admiration for the Like a Virgin hitmaker. “I want to be around for 25 years. I admire Madonna and Courtney Love and the way they re-invent themselves and kick ass,” she said last year. “I want to do that and be even bigger.”

The Bad Romance singer sports short dark hair and a white tank top on the front of the men's version of the fashion magazine. She is described as model Jo Calderone - who is Gaga's alter ego. In the accompanying interview, 'he' claims to be a friend of the singer. "I met her at a shoot (photographer) Nick Knight was doing. She's f***** beautiful, and funny, and interesting. "I was a little nervous for Nick to start shooting. "She said, 'Don't be baby, you were born this way.' I took her out after. The rest is private." Gaga, real name Stefani Germanotta, is not afraid to push sexual boundaries. She admitted to having bi-sexual relationships in the past and is an advocate of gay rights. The singer recently became the most followed person on Twitter, overtaking pop star Britney Spears. Gaga will soon become immortalised in wax at the New York branch of Madame Tussauds. Gaga statues are expected at many of the other global museums, including the one in London. Fans of the star, referred to by Gaga as "little monsters" are being given the chance to share their ideas on which of her flamboyant outfits the waxwork should wear. "We're open to hearing from fans about which looks they want," said a spokesman.

Lady Gaga says taking drugs inspired her music. The ‘Poker Face’ singer began using illegal substances after she dropped out of a music course at New York University in 2005, and she insists getting high helped her creativity. The 24-year-old pop star said, “[Using drugs] I really figured out the art I wanted to make and was inspired. Some people find inspiration in dark places. I guess I’m one of them. “What always made me different is that if I was doing drugs I was also making music. I wasn’t just doing drugs.” The eccentric singer, real name Stefani Germanotta, also revealed her mother Cynthia didn’t understand why she felt she needed to take drugs and was confused by her early performances. She told Q magazine, “At the beginning I was doing performance art in handmade leather and leopard bikinis talking about oral sex and Andy Warhol and heavy metal. My mom was like, ‘You’ve lost your mind.’ I was doing drugs, I was really out of control. But I never got so far into it that I overdosed or anything.” However, Gaga is adamant she doesn’t need drugs anymore and has toned down her wild lifestyle. She explained, “Once you open those doors they’re open for ever. People who say they need [drugs] to be creative are full of s**t. I’m not some chick on the road getting high and f***ed up every night. I wake up, drink coffee and get on the phone to talk about the creative direction of the next video.” The singer caused a furore recently when she admitted in a magazine interview she occasionally took cocaine. She said, “I won’t lie; it’s occasional. And when I say occasional, I mean maybe a couple of times a year.”

LADY GaGa doesn’t have a very high opinion of Paris Hilton! The Poker Face hitmaker — who went to the same New York school as the wealthy socialite — doesn’t rate Paris’ musical capabilities. “It’s true [that we went to school together], but I don’t see [Paris] as an artist,” GaGa told Britain’s Q magazine. “People assume that all the girls who went to my school were like Nicky and Paris, and the truth is that I went to a very, very religious school and some girls were very artistic and some did drugs and didn’t give a f**k. “It was just like any other high school. Except we had nuns. “[At school] I was the smart, studious theater and music student. I didn’t hang out with all the popular blonde girls. I wasn’t blonde really until I was 20 years old.” GaGa comments will no doubt come as a bitter blow to Hilton, who said last year that she’d love to work with the superstar singer. “I love her style. I love her music. I listen to her all the time,” she said. “I would love to work with her. She seems so cool. She is a very smart girl.”

On Thursday afternoon, Lady Gaga made her way to Vancouver International Airport to catch a departing flight. But, between the studs-covered shoes, spiked gloves, and studded corset, Gaga was practically begging to be pulled aside for wand-on-one search. The only way her outfit could have been less airport friendly is if she were carrying Eddie Van Halen in her pocket. Once successfully past the security check, Gaga added some more metal to her getup with a can of Coke Zero.
