MADONNA is reportedly “obsessed” with Lady GaGa and is desperate for the singer to join her on tour.
Sources say the reigning Queen of Pop wants GaGa to open for her next year.
“Madonna is absolutely obsessed with GaGa,” an insider told Britain’s News of the World newspaper.
“She thinks she is the most cutting-edge star to come out of pop in ages and desperately wants to work with her.
“Basically GaGa can name her price.”
Hey, it’s not completely out of the question!
Madge, 52, has previously revealed she’s a huge GaGa fan.
“I see myself in Lady Gaga,” she said last year. “When I saw her, she didn’t have a lot of money for her production. she’s got holes in her fishnets, and there’s mistakes everywhere. It was kind of a mess, but I can see that she has that IT Factor. It’s nice to see that at a raw stage.”
And GaGa has previously talked about her admiration for the Like a Virgin hitmaker.
“I want to be around for 25 years. I admire Madonna and Courtney Love and the way they re-invent themselves and kick ass,” she said last year. “I want to do that and be even bigger.”

The Bad Romance singer sports short dark hair and a white tank top on the front of the men's version of the fashion magazine.
She is described as model Jo Calderone - who is Gaga's alter ego.
In the accompanying interview, 'he' claims to be a friend of the singer.
"I met her at a shoot (photographer) Nick Knight was doing. She's f***** beautiful, and funny, and interesting.
"I was a little nervous for Nick to start shooting.
"She said, 'Don't be baby, you were born this way.' I took her out after. The rest is private."
Gaga, real name Stefani Germanotta, is not afraid to push sexual boundaries.
She admitted to having bi-sexual relationships in the past and is an advocate of gay rights.
The singer recently became the most followed person on Twitter, overtaking pop star Britney Spears.
Gaga will soon become immortalised in wax at the New York branch of Madame Tussauds.
Gaga statues are expected at many of the other global museums, including the one in London.
Fans of the star, referred to by Gaga as "little monsters" are being given the chance to share their ideas on which of her flamboyant outfits the waxwork should wear.
"We're open to hearing from fans about which looks they want," said a spokesman.

Lady Gaga says taking drugs inspired her music.
The ‘Poker Face’ singer began using illegal substances after she dropped out of a music course at New York University in 2005, and she insists getting high helped her creativity.
The 24-year-old pop star said, “[Using drugs] I really figured out the art I wanted to make and was inspired. Some people find inspiration in dark places. I guess I’m one of them.
“What always made me different is that if I was doing drugs I was also making music. I wasn’t just doing drugs.”
The eccentric singer, real name Stefani Germanotta, also revealed her mother Cynthia didn’t understand why she felt she needed to take drugs and was confused by her early performances.
She told Q magazine, “At the beginning I was doing performance art in handmade leather and leopard bikinis talking about oral sex and Andy Warhol and heavy metal. My mom was like, ‘You’ve lost your mind.’ I was doing drugs, I was really out of control. But I never got so far into it that I overdosed or anything.”
However, Gaga is adamant she doesn’t need drugs anymore and has toned down her wild lifestyle.
She explained, “Once you open those doors they’re open for ever. People who say they need [drugs] to be creative are full of s**t. I’m not some chick on the road getting high and f***ed up every night. I wake up, drink coffee and get on the phone to talk about the creative direction of the next video.”
The singer caused a furore recently when she admitted in a magazine interview she occasionally took cocaine.
She said, “I won’t lie; it’s occasional. And when I say occasional, I mean maybe a couple of times a year.”

LADY GaGa doesn’t have a very high opinion of Paris Hilton!
The Poker Face hitmaker — who went to the same New York school as the wealthy socialite — doesn’t rate Paris’ musical capabilities.
“It’s true [that we went to school together], but I don’t see [Paris] as an artist,” GaGa told Britain’s Q magazine.
“People assume that all the girls who went to my school were like Nicky and Paris, and the truth is that I went to a very, very religious school and some girls were very artistic and some did drugs and didn’t give a f**k.
“It was just like any other high school. Except we had nuns.
“[At school] I was the smart, studious theater and music student. I didn’t hang out with all the popular blonde girls. I wasn’t blonde really until I was 20 years old.”
GaGa comments will no doubt come as a bitter blow to Hilton, who said last year that she’d love to work with the superstar singer.
“I love her style. I love her music. I listen to her all the time,” she said.
“I would love to work with her. She seems so cool. She is a very smart girl.”

On Thursday afternoon, Lady Gaga made her way to Vancouver International Airport to catch a departing flight. But, between the studs-covered shoes, spiked gloves, and studded corset, Gaga was practically begging to be pulled aside for wand-on-one search.
The only way her outfit could have been less airport friendly is if she were carrying Eddie Van Halen in her pocket.
Once successfully past the security check, Gaga added some more metal to her getup with a can of Coke Zero.

Dressed as an Italian mechanic named Jo Calderone, the entertainer’s hair is dyed black and chopped short.
In an interview for the September issue, the “Bad Romance” singer answers questions for Calderone, explaining his relationship to the headliner.

Lady Gaga will appear as her male alter ego who is described as "too cool to care" on the cover of Men's Vogue in Japan, MTV reported Wednesday.
Photos of the Calderone shoot were first leaked in late June and rumors began to swirl that it was Lady Gaga in drag. Celebrity blogger Perez Hilton tweeted a link to one of the photos with the caption "My hubby!"
Reps for Lady Gaga have yet to dispute the report that Calderone is in fact the entertainer.
